Saboré Bite Bar
This Shipping and Delivery Policy governs the conditions applicable to the delivery of food products, personalized items, and related services offered by Saboré Bite Bar. By placing an order or contracting a service, the customer expressly agrees to this Policy, which forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Service
Saboré Bite Bar provides delivery services related to:
- Food products
- Personalized items
- Event stand services under either a self-service (drop-off) or full-service with staff
modality
Delivery conditions may vary depending on the type of product or service contracted.
2. Delivery Areas
Saboré Bite Bar operates within an initial approximate geographic coverage of forty-five (45) to fifty-five (55) miles from its operational base, focused on areas with high social and corporate activity.
The delivery areas include, on a referential and non-binding basis, the following regions and cities:
South and Central Bay Area: San José, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Cupertino, Saratoga, Campbell, Los Gatos, Milpitas.
Peninsula to San Francisco:
Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, Foster City, San Mateo, Burlingame, South San Francisco, Daly City, San Francisco.
East Bay:
Fremont, Newark, Union City, Hayward, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, and Tracy (extended area subject to logistical availability).
Additional South Area:
Morgan Hill and Gilroy.
Delivery availability within these areas is subject to confirmation based on date, type of service, schedule, logistics, and Saboré Bite Bar’s operational capacity.
Saboré Bite Bar reserves the right to accept or decline deliveries within or outside these areas when operational conditions so require.
Nationwide Shipping for Personalized Items
Independently of local delivery coverage, Saboré Bite Bar may offer nationwide shipping within the United States exclusively for personalized items.
- Nationwide shipping applies only to personalized items
- It does not apply to food products or event stand services
- Shipping costs are not included and must be quoted in advance through the Orders Department
- Shipment will be processed only after the customer has reviewed and approved the quoted shipping cost Saboré Bite Bar reserves the right to accept or decline nationwide shipments based on availability, logistics, destination, or the nature of the order.
3. Delivery Dates and Timeframes
Delivery dates and timeframes are agreed upon in advance with the customer.
- Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed
- Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, restricted access, venue limitations, or other circumstances beyond Saboré Bite Bar’s control do not entitle the customer to a refund
The customer must ensure availability to receive the delivery at the agreed date and time.
4. Delivery Receipt Conditions
The customer or an authorized representative must be present to receive the order or service.
- If the customer or representative is unavailable, the delivery may be deemed completed
- Any additional costs resulting from failed delivery attempts shall be the customer’s responsibility
5. Transfer of Responsibility
Responsibility for products and services transfers to the customer at the following times:
- Food products and personalized items: at the time of delivery
- Self-service (drop-off) stand services: once delivery and basic setup have been completed
From that moment forward, Saboré Bite Bar shall not be responsible for deterioration, handling, storage, subsequent consumption, or loss.
6. Full-Service with Staff
For services that include Saboré Bite Bar staff:
- Saboré Bite Bar’s responsibility is limited to the duration and scope of the contracted service
- The customer is responsible for providing adequate space, timely access, and safe conditions
Once the service has concluded and staff have departed, any subsequent responsibility rests
with the customer.
7. Food Products
Due to the perishable nature of food products:
- The customer is responsible for proper handling, storage, and consumption after delivery
- No claims will be accepted for deterioration caused by improper handling, temperature
exposure, inadequate storage, or delayed consumption
8. Personalized Items
Personalized items are delivered in accordance with the terms agreed upon with the customer.
- Minor variations shall not be considered a breach of contract
- Damage occurring after delivery shall not be the responsibility of Saboré Bite Bar
9. Delivery Issues
Any issue related to delivery must be reported in writing within the timeframes established in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Notifications received outside those timeframes will not be considered.
